About the position
The PAUT/RT Technician position at Insight NDE, INC involves providing non-destructive testing (NDT) solutions to ensure the integrity and reliability of critical infrastructure across various industries. The role requires expertise in Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Radiographic Testing (RT), with a focus on quality assessments and adherence to safety standards. The technician will be responsible for setting up and calibrating equipment, generating quality images, and maintaining thorough documentation of results.
Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate PAUT and RT equipment.
- Generate and produce quality images and results.
- Adhere to applicable codes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and presentable work environment.
- Communicate thoroughly and clearly with teammates and clients.
- Be organized and thorough in all operations.
- Ensure detailed and thorough reporting.
Requirements
- Must have or be able to be certified immediately in PAUT/RT.
- 5 years of experience in non-destructive testing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with other methods of inspection (MT, PT, etc.).
- Phased array certification preferred.
