About the position

As a Pawnbroker, you will play a crucial role in greeting and connecting with guests, establishing rapport while ensuring the store maintains a high level of appearance. Your primary focus will be on accomplishing pawn production goals, which are essential for the profitability of the store. You will be responsible for testing and cleaning items to maximize store profitability, as well as researching the values of various products accurately. It is vital to remove all personal data from electronic items to maintain the confidentiality of previous owners when these products are eligible for resale. In addition to these tasks, you will need to accurately record important details such as brand, model, serial number, guest information, and detailed descriptions in compliance with state and city ordinances. Ensuring that guests' loans and purchases are located and stored properly is another critical responsibility. Maintaining a clean work environment is essential, and you will also be required to attend regular pawn training sessions and store meetings.
