The specialist will provide exceptional service to clients and collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure smooth enrollment transitions.

Responsibilities

• Process enrollment applications and verify the accuracy of submitted information.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and answer any questions regarding the enrollment process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of managed care standards and medical terminology to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to facilitate smooth enrollment transitions.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to enrollment discrepancies or client inquiries.
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in the database.
• Participate in training sessions to stay informed about changes in policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a medical office environment preferred.
• Familiarity with managed care principles and medical terminology is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
