About the position

The Payment Processing Supervisor at Bank Up Corporation is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Remittance Department, ensuring efficient processing and packaging of complex remittance accounts. This role involves managing staff, processing payments, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The position requires strong supervisory skills and a thorough understanding of remittance functions and equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff who receive, sort, open, and process remittance payment envelopes.
• Examine contents of mail for correct information and follow detailed instructions for processing payments.
• Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Produce reports detailing payment information according to client specifications.
• Initiate daily procedures for system operations within FLEXRPS.
• Initiate electronic bank deposits and upload accounting files.
• Support staff as workload dictates.

Requirements

• Some college education or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced processing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of remittance and lockbox operations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC operations.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Canon CR190i high-speed imaging equipment.
• Proven ability to research, recognize, and problem-solve.
