About the position

The Payment Systems Developer, also known as The Transaction Architect, is responsible for designing and developing secure and scalable payment systems that facilitate millions of transactions per second. This role involves creating innovative payment gateways, e-wallets, and financial APIs, while collaborating with finance experts, software engineers, and security specialists to ensure reliable and compliant payment solutions across various platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Build secure and scalable payment systems, including gateways, payment APIs, and e-wallets.
  • Integrate third-party payment providers like Stripe, PayPal, and Square into existing systems.
  • Implement strong security measures to protect payment data and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and SDKs for payment solutions, ensuring they are well-documented and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate on projects involving blockchain or cryptocurrency payments.
  • Continuously optimize payment systems for performance and troubleshoot payment-related issues.
  • Regularly monitor payment system performance and conduct security audits.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in designing and developing payment systems, including payment gateways and digital wallets.
  • Proficiency in building and integrating RESTful APIs for payment processing.
  • Deep understanding of payment security standards and practices, including PCI-DSS compliance.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency payments.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and problem-solving abilities.
