About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Payment Operations Business Manager to support the Head of Payment Operations in managing a large organization of 2500 employees. This role involves strategic planning, performance metrics development, budget forecasting, and preparing executive presentations. The ideal candidate will be capable of making independent decisions, organizing priorities, and effectively communicating with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of managers and individual contributors.
• Ensure successful planning, integration, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity.
• Provide executive support for Payment Operations, including management routines and administrative support.
• Prepare materials for executive reviews focusing on measurements, data insights, and storytelling.
• Engage functional leaders to obtain resources and influence outcomes while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Recommend opportunities for process improvement and effective management support routines.
• Collaborate with functional business partners and executive management to drive strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience.
• 4+ years of management experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Payments Operations experience or other operations business management experience preferred.
• Experience identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
• Prior experience preparing business reviews and presenting updates to senior leaders.
