The specialist will process payroll for multiple site locations across various departments, handle employment verifications and garnishments, and maintain compliance with federal and state payroll regulations. Additionally, the role involves training backup personnel for payroll processing and proactively planning for potential disruptions to payroll operations. The specialist will work closely with the finance team to ensure labor-related expenses are accurately captured and reconciled, produce payroll-related reports, and assist the CFO with tax strategies related to payroll. The accounting responsibilities include entering and reconciling employee benefits payments, maintaining financial records, and assisting with month-end closing processes.
