About the position

The Payroll Specialist position at StaffEase LLC is a full-time role focused on managing payroll and HR responsibilities for a family-owned manufacturing company in the Lacey/Olympia area. The successful candidate will ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and contribute to a positive work culture that emphasizes work-life balance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees, including tax preparations.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding payroll, including EFTPS and 941.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and weekly job cost reports.
  • File quarterly tax reporting.
  • Manage and report travel and per diem payments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience.
  • Proven experience in payroll management and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in 10-key typing for efficient data entry.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll.
