About the position

The Payroll ACH Specialist at Dort Financial Credit Union is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all payroll and ACH items. This role involves handling both exception and electronic information in compliance with NACHA rules and credit union policies. The position is integral to the financial operations of the credit union, contributing to the overall mission of enriching the lives of members and the community.

Responsibilities

• Process all payroll and ACH items accurately and timely.
• Handle exception (paper) and electronic (ACH or direct transmission) information according to NACHA rules and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of payroll and ACH transactions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Two years of credit union experience required; experience in ACH/payroll in a financial institution preferred.
• Must become AAP certified within two years of obtaining the position and maintain certification.
• Must be bondable.
• Good organizational skills preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating system and MS Office software.

Nice-to-haves
