About the position

The Payroll Administrator at PriorityWorkforce is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to customers, contingent employees, and coworkers while managing payroll processing and related administrative tasks. This role requires strong leadership qualities and attention to detail, ensuring accurate payroll execution and compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist payroll processing including time entry and verification.
  • Generate payroll checks and direct deposits.
  • Process garnishments and set up employee deductions while ensuring adherence to guidelines.
  • Answer phone calls and resolve employee or customer inquiries regarding payroll, invoicing, or new hire data entry.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some college coursework is desired.
  • Minimum of 1 year of office/administrative experience.
  • Prior experience in Payroll, Accounting, or Staffing Industry desired.
  • Understanding of state and federal laws, wage and hour, and payroll/timekeeping regulations.
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience with Tempworks and Salesforce is ideal.
  • Valid driver's license.
