About the position

The Payroll/Admin/HR Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processes, supporting HR functions, and ensuring compliance with various administrative tasks. This role involves working closely with team members to gather payroll data, coordinate benefits, and assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes. The specialist will also act as a liaison with external benefits providers and support performance reviews, contributing to a collaborative and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Administer payroll through Tri-net.
  • Gather and authenticate timekeeping information for each team member and export payroll data across the payroll system.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Perform HR duties such as online job postings, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding of each team member, ensuring compliance and systems access.
  • Coordinate benefits open enrollment and address employee benefit inquiries.
  • Support execution of yearly performance reviews.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS/BA with 3+ years of experience in Business Administration or relevant roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively.
  • Collaborative and a team player, able to work with entire teams in the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with Tri-net payroll systems is advantageous.
