The coordinator will also validate the identity and bank account information of payees to mitigate financial risks. Timely submission of employee direct deposits and benefit vendor ACH payments is essential, along with generating and mailing manual checks for payroll and benefits. The coordinator will prepare and submit federal, FICA, and state income tax deposits, ensuring compliance with all payroll tax regulations. The role also encompasses banking functions related to vendor bill payments and employee expense reimbursements, requiring participation in the development and implementation of accounting policies aimed at enhancing efficiency. The coordinator will verify electronic documents related to employee profiles, respond to inquiries regarding payroll checks, and manage orders for office supplies. The position may require occasional overtime on weekends or evenings to meet deadlines for time-sensitive projects.
