C and B Material Handling, LLC, part of the C and B Equipment family, is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Manager for our location in Sioux Falls, SD. This position is crucial for managing all aspects of payroll management and benefits administration. The Payroll and Benefits Manager will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, manage employee benefits programs, and implement strategies to optimize payroll and benefits processes. This role requires providing expert advice and counsel to management and staff on a variety of payroll and benefits-related issues in a multi-company environment. The Payroll and Benefits Manager will administer bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring that data is recorded and communicated accurately while complying with all local, state, and federal regulations. This position will also manage all employee benefit enrollment and programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, voluntary benefits, and other fringe benefits. The manager will lead and manage open enrollment and benefit life event processes in UKG, reconcile all benefit invoices, and manage COBRA compliance. Additionally, the role involves performing system integrity checks, leading payroll and benefit reporting, and training employees and managers in the use of UKG self-service features for payroll, time management, and benefits. The ideal candidate will maintain knowledge of payroll and benefit legal changes and practices, providing ongoing communication to employees and managers. This position is also responsible for responding to employee inquiries regarding wages, employment verifications, and benefits, ensuring a courteous and prompt resolution. The Payroll and Benefits Manager will complete other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs, making this a dynamic and impactful role within the organization.
