Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Manager to provide essential support to the company's business leaders and the Human Resources Department. This role encompasses a variety of key responsibilities, including benefits administration, processing semi-monthly payroll, updating and administering company policies and programs, and generating both semi-monthly and ad-hoc reports. The Payroll and Benefits Manager will also serve as the HRIS administrator, ensuring the smooth operation of payroll and benefits systems. In this position, the manager will oversee payroll administration functions, which include managing and submitting semi-monthly payroll using HRIS/Payroll systems, entering commissions, bonuses, and salary increases, and handling vacation and personal time reporting. The role also involves the semi-monthly upload of 401(k) contributions and the creation and submission of necessary compliance reports. Additionally, the Payroll and Benefits Manager will manage benefit administration, which includes administering all benefit plans such as Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA, and COBRA. Responsibilities include entering new benefit enrollments, status changes, and terminations with various carriers, as well as managing the benefit negotiation and open enrollment process with brokers. The manager will also develop, run, and analyze various salary reports for the Vice President of Human Resources and prepare employee, benefit, and payroll files for all new hires. The role requires conducting new hire orientation, managing the onboarding process, maintaining I-9 files, and processing new hires through the E-Verify system. The manager will oversee employee file management, ensuring compliance with the company's record destruction guidelines. Furthermore, the Payroll and Benefits Manager will assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring effective communication through employee booklets and meetings. As the lead representative and liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders, the manager will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the UKG HRIS platform. This includes serving as the first point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users, managing permissions and access, and ensuring data integrity through regular audits.
