About the position

Continental Floral Greens is seeking a skilled Payroll and Benefits Manager to oversee and supervise the payroll and benefits processes for our company. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a deep understanding of payroll and benefits best practices and regulations. In this role, you will manage and oversee company payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will coordinate daily benefits processing, including new hire and open enrollments, COBRA, Life Event changes, and compliance testing. As a trusted advisor to managers and employees, you will provide excellent customer service and follow through to resolve any pay or benefit issues that may arise. Additionally, you will manage the company and state leave of absence processes and train employees regarding the company payroll process and benefits. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise the payroll and benefits processes for the company.
  • Manage and oversee company payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing including new hire and open enrollments, COBRA, Life Event changes, and compliance testing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing excellent customer service and resolving pay or benefit issues.
  • Manage company and state leave of absence processes.
  • Train and inform employees regarding company payroll processes and benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, accounting or similar or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience processing payroll.
  • Experience processing payroll in WA, OR or CA.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish strongly preferred.
