About the position

The Payroll and Benefits Specialist role is a temporary position focused on assisting a large non-profit organization with payroll and benefits administration tasks. The specialist will primarily work on clean-up projects within the Paycor system, ensuring accurate employee payroll information and benefit details. This role is essential for maintaining compliance and efficiency in payroll processing during a two-month contract period.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with clean up projects within Paycor
  • Add employee payroll information into Paycor
  • Ensure employee tax filings are up-to-date
  • Assist with entry of open enrollment
  • Audit and adjust employee benefit information into Paycor
  • Assist the Payroll manager with other data entry/clean up work within Paycor

Requirements

  • Must have at least 2 years of Paycor experience
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience working with payroll and benefits
  • Must be willing to commute downtown Chicago 2 days/week
  • Must be comfortable working a 2 month contract
