About the position

The Payroll and HR Data Specialist at Quality Vision International Inc. plays a crucial role in managing payroll processing, HR analytics, and general HR administrative tasks. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently, ensuring compliance with payroll laws and providing insights through HR data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process the company's payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all payroll laws and regulations.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any issues related to payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare necessary reports for audits.
  • Collaborate with the finance department for accurate financial reporting related to payroll.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze HR data to provide insights and support decision-making.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
  • Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve HR processes and employee satisfaction.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including record maintenance for onboarding and offboarding.
  • Reconcile benefit invoices on a monthly basis and complete annual audits for worker's compensation and 401k inquiries.
  • Provide reporting on trainings in the learning management system and coordinate HR projects as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing and/or HR analytics.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HR Information Systems (HRIS), with experience in Paylocity preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with experience creating Macros highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HR analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing HR processes.
