About the position

As a Payroll and Office Manager at Crown Point CPAS, you will be responsible for delivering payroll support to a diverse group of professional clients. This role involves onboarding new clients, providing support through the client portal, and ensuring compliance with tax return processes. You will communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions while managing payroll operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare multi-state payroll
  • Schedule payroll tax payments
  • Prepare and file federal, state, and local payroll tax forms
  • Organize and send tax returns along with electronic signature documents
  • Onboard new clients within the systems
  • Provide support to the client portal
  • Facilitate back-end compliance of the tax return process
  • Communicate directly with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of equivalent experience in payroll or accounting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to learn new skills and processes
