About the position
The Payroll Associate II is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of domestic payroll under supervision. This role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and confidentiality while handling various payroll-related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor Payroll inbox daily.
- Respond to email requests for timecard adjustments promptly.
- Coordinate, respond to, and track all timecard adjustments.
- Calculate paycheck adjustments and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
- Enter timecard adjustments into the Payroll system in a timely manner.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding timecard corrections, garnishments, VOEs, and wage data requests.
- Open, scan, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
- Open service requests with Payroll vendor for garnishment processing.
- Create team reminders and meeting invites related to Payroll processing.
- Perform general other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in payroll or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-haves
- 4 years of experience in payroll or a related field.
- Experience working in a similar position for 4 years.
- Experience in multi-location and multi-state payroll.
- Experience with Excel.
- Experience with Kronos Application or similar timekeeping system.
- Experience with Workday or other HCM system.
