About the position

The Payroll Benefits Coordinator at Washington Healthcare plays a crucial role in enhancing employee satisfaction and ensuring accurate payroll administration. This position involves onboarding new employees, compiling payroll data, and serving as a liaison between various departments to address payroll-related matters, all while promoting a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and compassion to patients served by the organization.
• Assist in onboarding new teammates to foster a positive work environment.
• Administer payroll programs accurately to impact employee satisfaction positively.
• Communicate effectively about the company's compensation and benefit programs to employees.
• Compile payroll data including salary changes, insurance updates, and 401(k) deductions, and submit to HR in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison with facility, payroll, and HR departments regarding payroll-related inquiries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related experience or training preferred.
• Previous office and payroll experience is preferred.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
