About the position

The Payroll Benefits Coordinator at American Senior Communities plays a crucial role in enhancing employee satisfaction and ensuring accurate payroll administration. This position involves onboarding new teammates, compiling payroll data, and serving as a liaison between various departments regarding payroll-related matters, all while promoting a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and compassion to patients served by the organization.
• Assist in onboarding new employees as a positive teammate.
• Administer payroll programs accurately to impact employee satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively about the company's compensation and benefit programs.
• Compile payroll data such as salary changes, insurance updates, and 401(k) deductions, submitting it accurately and timely to Human Resources.
• Act as a liaison with the facility, Payroll, and HR Departments regarding payroll-related matters.

Requirements

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous office and payroll experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
