About the position

The Payroll Benefits Coordinator at American Senior Communities plays a vital role in enhancing employee satisfaction and ensuring accurate payroll administration. This position is centered around providing compassionate care to both patients and team members, aligning with the organization's core values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence (C.A.R.E.). The coordinator will be responsible for managing payroll data, onboarding new employees, and serving as a liaison between various departments to facilitate smooth payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Making a difference in the lives of the patients by providing care and compassion.
• Acting as a positive teammate by helping onboard new employees.
• Administering payroll programs accurately to impact employee satisfaction.
• Communicating the company's compensation and benefit programs effectively to promote a positive employee experience.
• Compiling payroll data such as salary changes, insurance updates, and 401(k) deductions and submitting it accurately and timely to Human Resources.
• Serving as a liaison with the facility, ASC Payroll, and HR Departments regarding payroll-related matters.

Requirements

• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training.
