About the position

The Payroll Benefits Coordinator at American Senior Communities plays a crucial role in enhancing employee satisfaction and promoting a positive work environment. This position involves accurately administering payroll programs, compiling payroll data, and serving as a liaison between various departments regarding payroll-related matters. The coordinator will also contribute to the onboarding of new teammates and ensure effective communication of compensation and benefit programs.

Responsibilities

• Accurately administer payroll programs to ensure employee satisfaction.
• Compile payroll data such as salary changes, insurance updates, address changes, and 401(k) deductions.
• Submit payroll data to ASC Human Resources through Employee Data Sheets (EDS) in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison with the facility, ASC Payroll, and HR Departments regarding payroll-related matters.
• Assist in onboarding new teammates and promote a positive employee experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
• Previous office and payroll experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a healthcare or senior living environment.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
