About the position

The Payroll and Benefits Manager at Encore Design Services is responsible for overseeing payroll processing and managing employee benefits for a growing company of 150 employees. This role involves leadership in human resources, onboarding new employees, and implementing training programs, as well as coordinating with insurance brokers and managing open enrollment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Processing payroll through ADP every other week and preparing reports
  • Providing human resources leadership for the company
  • Onboarding new employees
  • Preparing and implementing employee and manager training programs
  • Working with insurance brokers for annual bidding of benefit programs
  • Leading the annual Open Enrollment strategy, communications, and execution
  • Supervising office administrator staff associate
  • Coordinating with insurance company for workers compensation coverage
  • Preparing and implementing employee surveys

Requirements

  • At least two years experience utilizing ADP platforms for both payroll and 401k
  • Minimum three years experience in Human Resources leadership/management role for a company with at least 100 employees
  • Strong knowledge of all employee benefit programs related to health and retirement
  • Effective communicator, highly organized and ability to easily multi-task
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with emphasis in Human Resources
