Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a Fiscal Assistant to support daily billing and payroll activities in their Billerica office. This role is essential for ensuring accurate documentation and processing of claims, while also providing excellent customer service to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a positive attitude, contributing to the company's mission of compassionate care for elderly and disabled clients.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all contracts contain necessary information to process claims.
  • Proactively run reports to detect and address potential billing errors, collaborating with operations to resolve issues.
  • Prepare and submit billing claims along with required correspondence.
  • Follow up on overdue payments, address billing questions, and manage variances.
  • Organize and archive claim and payroll-related data efficiently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant with a focus on billing and/or payroll tasks preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, high-energy attitude with resourcefulness and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with office equipment (printers, fax machines, projectors)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
