About The Position
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll & Billing Specialist to join our team at America's Home Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement, as well as processing payroll on a bi-weekly basis. This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The Payroll & Billing Specialist will play a vital role in managing the financial aspects of our home health services, ensuring that all billing processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. In this position, you will manage the billing and reimbursement processes for home health services, which includes processing and posting payments, invoices, and credits accurately and efficiently. You will perform account reconciliation and accounts payable functions, utilizing software to track and manage client billing and accounts. Maintaining accurate records of client billing and reimbursement activities is essential, as is ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily prior authorizations and physician orders, collaborating with other team members to resolve any billing and reimbursement issues that may arise. Your role will also involve performing data entry and maintaining the integrity of client information, as well as participating in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while also being a team player.
