About the position

Responsibilities

  • Process and balance bi-weekly payrolls for all store hourly personnel.
  • Issue payment adjustments and terminations in accordance with state mandates.
  • Audit payroll entries for accuracy.
  • Research and process stop payments.
  • Investigate and reissue returned checks.
  • Respond to employee and business partner inquiries regarding payroll.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned.
  • Stay updated on payroll guidelines and legislation.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in data entry and maintaining payroll records.
  • Familiarity with manual payroll processes.
  • Understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations in the retail industry.
  • Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information.
