About the position

The Payroll Clerk position at Price Family Dealerships involves supporting payroll operations for two luxury automotive stores in Los Gatos and Walnut Creek. Responsibilities

• Review and process weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll checks.
• Communicate discrepancies with Managers/Supervisors regarding timesheet issues.
• Conduct weekly onboarding audits to verify pre-employment/application processes.
• Process regular payroll and termination checks with high accuracy.
• Maintain reports and spreadsheets for payroll reporting purposes.
• Validate and reconcile payroll data to ensure accurate payments and records.
• Manage and calculate taxes and deductions.
• Maintain employee confidence by keeping HR information confidential.
• Prepare payroll reports for internal and external audits.
• Reconcile schedules weekly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in processing payroll.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with Federal and State Wage & Hour law.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize projects.
• Mandatory ability to maintain confidential information.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using Paylocity is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required.
