About the position

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for managing and processing vendor payments and associate payroll in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. This role requires attention to detail and proficiency in payroll and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and accounts payable transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process vendor payments and associate payroll accurately and timely.
  • Record accounts payable transactions accurately.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and payroll statements.
  • Prepare and verify quarterly payroll reports in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information.
  • Communicate effectively and function productively within an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Human Resources and Payroll experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare or mid-size companies is helpful.
  • Prior bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ADP software preferred.
