About the position

The Payroll Contract Manager at BakerRipley is responsible for overseeing the payroll processes within the Workforce Solutions-FAPO department. This role ensures compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements while serving as the primary contact for the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and assigned partners. The position focuses on maintaining accurate and timely payments, monitoring key performance indicators, and conducting audits to enhance payroll service effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the PEO for assigned partners.
  • Coordinate activities to problem-solve with PEO and partners to address any issues or concerns promptly and escalate as necessary.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of payroll services.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks on payroll processes and outputs.
  • Publish KPIs and outcomes of payroll process to all Workforce Solutions partners.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in payroll management or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Professionalism and confidentiality in handling payroll information.
  • Ability to run queries and reports, preparing payroll reports for management or auditing purposes.
