About the position

The Payroll Data Analyst position at US HealthCenter involves analyzing client payroll data and collaborating with payroll specialists to create custom reports. This hybrid role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while supporting various stakeholders in the payroll process.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze external client employee payroll data utilizing an internal program
  • Work remotely with client payroll specialists to develop custom payroll reports from their payroll system
  • Run payroll reports on a per payroll cycle basis to determine benefits eligibility
  • Lead discussions and collaborate with insurance brokers and employers regarding analysis results
  • Work with TEAMates to improve the analytics process
  • Work as a member of the client service TEAM that supports distributors, insurance brokers and employers

Requirements

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
  • Strong experience in various payroll systems
  • Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required
  • Strong knowledge of tax and wage laws
  • Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time
