The Payroll & HR Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages. This role involves working closely with the operations teams to maintain payroll data integrity, comply with relevant regulations, and provide insightful financial reporting. The Payroll & HR Manager will have strong expertise in using payroll systems and various Workforce/Labor management systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficient payroll operations. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential for success in this role. In this position, the Payroll & HR Manager will manage and process bi-weekly payrolls using the ADP payroll system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities include calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and other compensations while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The manager will also validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and garnishments. Staying updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations is crucial to ensure full compliance, including preparing and submitting payroll tax filings, quarterly and annual reports, and W-2s. The role requires maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records, ensuring data integrity in both the payroll system and other scheduling/people management software. Regular audits will be conducted to verify payroll data accuracy and resolve discrepancies. The Payroll & HR Manager will administer benefits, track eligibility, provide and collect enrollment forms, and manage payroll-related deductions for benefits. Utilizing the payroll system for processing, reporting, and employee self-service functions is also a key responsibility. Additionally, the manager will conduct regular payroll reconciliations and provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll-related matters, implementing best practices to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing. Confidentiality and ethics are paramount, as the manager will handle confidential payroll information with the highest level of integrity and discretion.
