About the position

The Payroll & HRIS Manager will oversee payroll processing and compliance for an aerospace company, ensuring accurate and timely payroll for all employees. This full-time position will initially be onsite and transition to a hybrid model. The role requires managing multi-state, union, and international payrolls while collaborating with third-party vendors and leveraging the Paylocity platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Handle multi-state, union, and international payrolls, coordinating with third-party vendors for global payroll needs.
  • Lead payroll operations through initial and ongoing transitions, anticipating potential challenges.
  • Build, analyze, and interpret payroll reports to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with a Paylocity service representative for necessary system configurations.
  • Act as a reliable single-point payroll expert with minimal backup support from an HR Generalist.
  • Navigate complex payroll needs and manage multi-entity payroll transitions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' payroll management experience.
  • Strong experience in Paylocity or comparable payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday).
  • Proficiency in payroll reporting and analysis, skilled in report-building and interpretation.
  • Experience with union payrolls/employees.
  • Experience managing multi-state or multi-site payrolls.
  • International payroll coordination and vendor management.
