About the position

The Payroll / HRIS Specialist at Graceland is responsible for processing payroll for both Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. and the Guesthouse at Graceland on a bi-weekly basis. This role ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations while providing support to the HRIS/HR functions as needed. The position requires a strong focus on customer service and accuracy in payroll processing, along with the ability to handle various payroll-related tasks and issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. and Guesthouse at Graceland.
• Audit incoming payroll data and update Direct Deposit, W4s, and applicable State forms.
• Adjust payroll as necessary and correct errors from generated reports.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
• Process wages for different classes of employees, including H2B and J-1 visa holders.
• Compile and process tips (both cash and charge) accurately.
• Research and resolve payroll-related issues such as discrepancies and policy violations.
• Build and maintain relationships with employees and other payroll customers.
• Initiate benefit changes as necessary and process garnishments, LOAs, and wage verifications.
• Assist with W2 balancing and validation, and testing as needed.
• Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as required.

Requirements

• Associate's degree preferred.
• Strong PC skills, particularly in Excel.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and maintain organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Ceridian DayForce experience preferred.
• Tip processing experience preferred.
