Our Global Payroll Operate practice focuses on helping our clients effectively manage their global payroll needs proactively and responsibly in 150+ countries. Our quality service and technical network enable you to help clients reduce inefficiencies, mitigate risk and drive process improvement within their payroll functions. Our market-leading approach combines extensive local payroll service experience with a standard global payroll compliance and implementation methodology. With engagements involving a few countries or many, you will have the opportunity to provide clients an integrated, consistent, quality service that unlocks the potential of the payroll function across the entire process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global payroll implementations for mid-sized to large clients.
  • Supervise the design, implementation, and smooth transition to new global payroll operate models.
  • Drive continuous innovation and enhance project delivery tools.
  • Manage project escalations and refer to senior implementation team members for assistance.
  • Utilize global methodology payroll leading practices.
  • Engage in thought leadership development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery tools and templates.
  • Coach and mentor junior implementation team members.
  • Support sales processes related to central implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and relevant post-graduate qualification, preferably in Sciences, Business or Finance.
  • Eight or more years of relevant payroll project and/or project management experience.
  • Experience with large HR and Payroll implementation projects working with major technology vendors such as ADP, Oracle, SAP, Workday.
  • Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Project management experience with large HR/Payroll projects.
  • Active PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP qualification from the Society for Human Resource Management.
  • Professional in Human Resources, Senior Professional in Human Resources or Global Professional in Human Resources qualification from the HR Certification Institute.
  • Certified Payroll Professional designation offered by the American Payroll Association.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Master's degree in business administration or EY Tech MBA.
