As a Payroll Manager at Levy, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional payroll and accounting services to both internal and external stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that payroll processes are executed accurately and efficiently, adhering to the highest standards of internal controls. You will be expected to implement effective processes that not only meet operational needs but also enhance the overall guest experience. In this role, you will maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and team members, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally. Your attention to detail will be critical as you manage the payroll process, ensuring that all information is accurate and submitted in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for compiling and communicating financial results to management regularly, providing targeted financial analysis as needed. Additionally, you will oversee the staffing of your department to meet operational demands, utilizing performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to your team. Your ability to promote a cooperative work climate will be essential in achieving departmental goals and maintaining high morale among team members. You will also be involved in the hiring, training, and development of team members, ensuring that they adhere to Levy's guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Act as a liaison with operational teams to ensure efficient performance.
  • Maintain accurate filing of financial archive files and data.
  • Complete all projects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure department reports are completed and compiled at month-end closing.
  • Communicate financial results to management regularly.
  • Provide accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested.
  • Staff the department to meet operational needs.
  • Utilize performance management tools to guide and provide feedback to team members.
  • Promote a cooperative work climate to maximize productivity and morale.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop team members according to Levy guidelines.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
  • Previous payroll experience is required.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and different shifts.
