About the position

Seldin, LLC is seeking a Payroll Manager at our Corporate office in Omaha, NE. This position will offer a competitive salary, determined by experience, certifications, skills, and education. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring that company compensation is consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations. This role involves overseeing and supervising the organization's payroll functions, ensuring that pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management and will be expected to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance in all payroll-related activities. In this role, the Payroll Manager will also be tasked with analyzing payroll data, preparing reports, and ensuring that all payroll processes are efficient and effective. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that payroll operations run smoothly. The Payroll Manager will also be responsible for staying updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with payroll processing.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure company compensation is administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
  • Oversee and supervise the organization's payroll functions.
  • Ensure pay is processed on time and accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations regarding payroll.
  • Analyze payroll data and prepare reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Five years experience administering Payroll.
  • One to two years of multi-state payroll experience.
  • Advanced proficiency using HRIS/UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) Software.
  • Expert-level proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to combine and analyze large data sets.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (CFPP) is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Credentialing as an SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) is preferred.
  • Experience in benefits administration is a plus.
