About the position

The Payroll Manager at Cirkul, Inc. is a vital member of the Total Rewards team, responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for over 1,000 employees. This role ensures compliance with various regulations while managing the UKG payroll system for both hourly and salaried staff. The position emphasizes driving results, taking ownership of payroll processes, making informed decisions, and cultivating relationships across departments to support organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, contributing to employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency.
• Complete and oversee the entire payroll process, including data management, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end payroll preparations.
• Implement payroll policies and practices that promote compliance and efficiency, addressing issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to address payroll-related inquiries and support organizational needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive payroll information.
• Deliver exceptional service to employees, ensuring their payroll questions and concerns are resolved promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of payroll processing experience, ideally in a mid to large-sized organization.
• Proficiency in UKG payroll system is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience processing full-cycle multi-state payroll.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
