About the position

The Payroll Manager position at Robert Half is a long-term contract role within the Restaurants & Catering industry, located in Lebanon, Tennessee. This hybrid role involves supervising a payroll team and managing all aspects of payroll processing and reporting using WorkDay software, ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll operations for a large employee base.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and provide performance management for the payroll team
  • Ensure accurate and efficient payroll adjustments and reporting in WorkDay
  • Manage W2 processing and audits related to payroll
  • Assist with the preparation of the payroll budget
  • Handle census reporting duties
  • Oversee the administration of 401k and RRSP programs
  • Conduct auditing and benefit functions
  • Manage payroll for a large number of employees (over 50,000)
  • Handle garnishments in payroll.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a payroll management role.
  • Proven skills in 401k - RRSP Administration.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in auditing.
  • Experience in handling benefit functions.
  • Knowledge and experience in W2 management.
  • Experience in managing payroll for over 5,000 employees is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using Workday and Workday Payroll software.
  • Experience in handling garnishments.
