About the position

The Payroll Manager at United Safety and Survivability Corporation is responsible for overseeing and managing payroll operations globally across multiple regions, ensuring timely and accurate execution of payroll in compliance with government regulations. This role requires extensive knowledge of payroll processes, compliance regulations, and payroll and tax laws, along with strong communication skills to collaborate with various departments and deliver outstanding service to employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for multiple geographic locations globally, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Prepare and complete end-to-end payroll process for multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with contacts at various site locations to complete end-to-end payroll process.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to address payroll-related issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date on global payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements to ensure payroll processes align with legal standards for our locations.
  • Manage relationships with external payroll vendors, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of payroll data to identify errors, discrepancies, or areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and complete any action items needed from payroll related systems.
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and analysis, highlighting key metrics, trends, and insights.
  • Provide guidance and support to on-site contacts, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage all payroll-related documentation in specific locations.
  • Lead and manage payroll related projects.
  • Provide general support to HR department as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on global payroll operations preferred.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of global payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements across multiple countries.
