Join our People Resources team as our Payroll Manager. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing. As the Payroll Manager, you will ensure that biweekly payroll is completed accurately, effectively, and on time for team members. Your high level of attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring that all direct deposits, deductions, garnishments, earnings, and tax changes are executed as appropriate. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing post-payroll reporting as needed, managing electronic employee personnel and payroll documents, and delivering exceptional service to the team while resolving any payroll discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a two-year degree in business or accounting, or equivalent education and experience. They should also have a minimum of 3 years of experience with primary responsibility for time and attendance and payroll administration and processing, or a minimum of 1-3 years of experience supporting finance and accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting. The Payroll Manager must be highly organized, efficient, able to meet deadlines, and prioritize work. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are required. They must have excellent computer skills including proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office products, as well as the ability to learn new computer or online payroll applications. Experience working with time and attendance, ADP Payroll, and HRIS systems is highly preferred. Knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and principles, as well as state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility, is essential. Vendor management experience and experience with RFPs and implementation is helpful. All Mascoma Bank team members must maintain privacy and confidentiality. This role can be performed hybrid or in-office at our office in Lebanon, NH or our Operations Center in White River Junction, VT.
