About the position

Sierra Executive Solutions, Inc. (SES) is seeking a Payroll Manager for a casino client located in Sparks, Nevada. This position is crucial for managing the payroll processes for multiple small companies within the hospitality industry. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for processing full cycle weekly payroll for approximately 650 employees across 10 different companies, utilizing two payroll cycles. The role requires a hands-on approach to process management, ensuring accuracy and compliance in payroll operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to a company culture that values long-term employment and employee satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site position, meaning that remote or hybrid work options are not available. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure that payroll is processed efficiently and accurately, addressing any issues that may arise during the payroll cycle.

Responsibilities

• Process full cycle weekly payroll for 10 different small companies on 2 payroll cycles.
• Manage payroll for approximately 650 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.
• Utilize Paylocity for payroll processing and management.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
• Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full cycle payroll management experience is required.
• Experience with payroll of 500+ employees desired.
• Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
