About the position

The Payroll Manager at Winston-Salem State University is responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of employee payments, including salaries, benefits, and taxes. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure timely payroll processing for a minimum of 12 payroll cycles.
  • Review and analyze payroll data, preparing reports and documentation for auditors.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to maintain data security and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide support for complex payroll issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and familiarity with Banner and WebFocus.
