The Payroll Onboarding Specialist at Thomas Doll is a part-time role focused on facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new clients. Responsibilities

  • Gather new client data for setup and conversions from other payroll platforms.
  • Coordinate and follow up with other departments to ensure client's needs are met holistically.
  • Communicate efficiently with prior service providers and clients to gather necessary information.
  • Create client profiles within the payroll software.
  • Act as a liaison with company staff, answering questions and facilitating decision-making related to onboarding issues.
  • Aid in the development of systems, products, or operational documentation regarding new client training and onboarding.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and may conduct training sessions for clients and staff on payroll software.
  • Respond to payroll notices in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • AA Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar degree (preferred).
  • Basic Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, approachability, and professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong client relationship skills.
