About the position

As a Payroll Processor at International Flavors & Fragrances, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll for approximately 5,500 employees. This role requires compliance with all relevant internal controls and regulations while maintaining confidentiality and meeting strict deadlines. You will utilize ADP Workforce Now and ADP E-Time to manage various payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in payroll processing.

Responsibilities

  • Process Weekly, Biweekly, Semi-monthly, and Monthly payrolls for assigned employees using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Maintain and process time and attendance records, payroll deductions, compensation changes, overtime, and withholding adjustments.
  • Perform pre-processing and post-processing payroll reconciliation tasks as required.
  • Prepare and provide all required payroll and related reports needed for month-end and payroll general ledger posting.
  • Process benefits interfaces into and out of the payroll system and related funding.
  • Review, troubleshoot, and resolve interface data that feeds into the payroll system.
  • Respond to all auditor inquiries and complete mortgage and employment verification forms.
  • Address inquiries and requests from local tax authorities and payroll inquiries from employees via email or tickets.
  • Complete Union dues monthly remittance and reports.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure accurate employee information is passed to payroll with appropriate backup for auditing purposes.
  • Serve as point of contact for payroll and timekeeping system, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Review and accurately complete periodic and year-end reporting information.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5 years Payroll processing experience on ADP WFN and E-Time.
  • Firm understanding of payroll processing principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact with various levels of management.
  • Ability to work well under strict deadlines in a high-volume environment where multi-tasking is essential.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and implications.
  • Confidentiality is a must.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • ADP WFN and E-Time experience preferred.
  • Workday experience preferred.
  • FPC or CPP certification.
