About the position

The Payroll Service Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payrolls, managing assigned payroll volumes, and ensuring data integrity throughout the employee lifecycle. This role serves as the primary point of contact for client service requests and involves auditing payroll processes for efficiency, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining client service tools.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely processing of assigned payrolls
• Manage commensurate volumes of assigned payrolls
• Accurate and timely data entry for employee lifecycle
• Review assigned payroll processes for efficiency and recommend changes as needed
• Accurately perform periodic CSC tasks on the appropriate timelines
• Auditing peer changes for errors or discrepancies in data and ensure integrity
• Provide call coverage to clients for payroll needs during business hours
• Primary point of contact for daily client service requests
• Respond to client report requests
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and client queries regarding payroll
• Maintaining client service tools (SOPs, Job Aids, Forms, Notes, Training Materials)

• Experience in payroll processing
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
