About the position

As a Payroll Offboarding Specialist at BambooHR, you will play a crucial role in managing the offboarding process for clients, ensuring a seamless transition when payroll services are terminated. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, as you will oversee clients who are missing payroll run dates, process client requests, and manage the client termination processes across various departments. Your efforts will help maintain positive relationships with clients, protect the company from potential risks, and provide valuable insights for continuous improvement, all of which are essential for the long-term success of Bamboo Payroll. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating with clients who are not running payroll, maintaining a list of monthly billing clients, and terminating payroll services for those clients. You will actively monitor and report on the progress and success of offboarding activities, ensuring task completion across teams. Additionally, you will communicate with legal teams to ensure compliance with Payroll Services Agreements and coordinate with various departments to complete offboarding tasks. Your role will also involve providing clients with extended access to payroll reports and supporting inquiries from both internal and external sources. Collaboration is key in this position, as you will provide feedback regarding offboarding documentation and client-facing help content to streamline processes. Gathering client feedback during the offboarding phase will be essential to identify areas for improvement and ensure a positive departure experience for clients. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the overall client experience and maintaining the integrity of BambooHR's payroll services.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients not running payroll and maintain a list of monthly billing clients.
  • Terminate payroll services for clients not running payroll.
  • Actively monitor and report on the progress and success of offboarding activities and ensure task completion across teams.
  • Communicate with legal to ensure Payroll Services Agreement compliance and coordinate with various teams to complete offboarding tasks.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the offboarding process, required information, and next steps.
  • Provide Client Extended Access to payroll reports.
  • Support inquiries from internal and external sources.
  • Collaborate and provide feedback regarding offboarding documentation and client-facing help content to streamline processes.
  • Gather client feedback during the offboarding phase to identify areas for improvement and ensure a positive departure experience.
