About the position

ADP is hiring a Payroll Solutions Specialist to join our Human Resources Outsourcing department. In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that provides support and guidance to Client Payroll Administrators regarding a wide variety of payroll and tax-related questions and issues. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold ADP's service reputation and ensure client satisfaction by delivering accurate and comprehensive responses to inquiries about payroll practices and tax considerations. You will utilize multiple tools and resources daily to assist clients, ensuring that your communication is clear and actionable. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a metrics-driven call center environment and are comfortable with a structured workday. You will be expected to build rapport with clients, establish trust, and maintain professionalism in all interactions, whether over the phone or in writing. Every day will present new challenges as you respond to diverse client inquiries, making your work both interesting and rewarding. Responsibilities

  • Respond to client questions regarding payroll and benefits products and provide application and product navigation support.
  • Assist clients with payroll processing and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide timely communication regarding tax changes and ensure accurate payroll and tax processing.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering consultative support and recommendations on product optimization.
  • Play a critical role during quarter and year-end support, resolving issues in partnership with clients.
  • Work on complex projects, including calculation updates, special reports, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to identify and resolve issues.
  • Create and regularly update standard client documentation.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a related field, or military experience.
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven call center environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clarity and professionalism in client interactions.

Nice-to-haves

  • High-level payroll knowledge, including payroll skills for processing client payrolls.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll tax principles and wage and hour laws.
