About the position

As a Payroll Specialist at AHI Facility Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, benefits, and related financial transactions. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a smooth payroll process and supporting employee satisfaction. You will be responsible for processing payroll for employees on a regular schedule, calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions accurately, and addressing any discrepancies promptly. Collaboration with the HR department is essential to ensure accurate benefit deductions and enrollments, as well as generating payroll reports for management and finance teams. In this role, you will partner with HR for any irregular requests regarding employees' pay, position, and separation. Maintaining payroll records, including employee profiles, tax forms, and pay history, is a key responsibility. You will ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive payroll data and address payroll-related issues, such as payment discrepancies, tax inquiries, and garnishments. Additionally, you will collaborate with employees, managers, and external vendors to resolve issues promptly and identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency. Proposing, implementing, and documenting improvements to payroll systems and procedures will also be part of your duties. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred; relevant experience will be considered.
  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll or similar role required.
