Responsibilities

• Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, utilizing systems such as ADP and PeopleSoft.
• Maintain payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and deductions.
• Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare journal entries related to payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy in debits and credits.
• Collaborate with the accounting department on accounts receivable tasks as needed.
• Generate reports related to payroll metrics and financial performance using financial software tools.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll practices.
• Assist in audits related to payroll processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll management or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Knowledge of debits, credits, journal entries, and general accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
